Cupping
Therapeutic suction 'cups' are used around the body to target areas of deep congestion, stagnant energy, and trigger points (knots). This technique boosts healthy lymph flow, and detoxification. Cupping commonly produces marks on the body that vary from pink to dark brown. They look like bruises but they are not. The coloration is a byproduct of the released tissue, and resolves in a few days. Lymphatic massage techniques are part of this treatment to aide the bodys natural ability to flush and heal.
Raindrop Therapy
Dr. Young's original protocol was inspired by a Native American tradition which channels healing energy from the great Northern Lights. It primarily focuses on spinal health/mobility, detoxification, and stimulating natural immunity.
During the massage, a set of therapeutic essential oils are dropped along the spine. The techniques stimulate the parasympathetic, and sympathetic nervous system for a unique, rejuvenating experience.
Reflexology is a grounding part of this treatment to open energetic pathways within your body systems from the feet up.
Deep Tissue
Intensely satisfying and powerful. Ideal if you are maintaining or working on releasing deep set trigger points, are an athlete, or simply prefer the sensation of a deep tissue massage. Deep pressure creates micro-tears in the tissue, which may assist with adding 'bulk' to your physique. Warm bamboo tools assist the session. It is important to rest and hydrate after, as well as expect some soreness in the following couple of days.
Hot Stones
Toasty basalt stones are oiled and smoothed over skin to gently melt away tension and trigger points in deep muscular tissues. This heated service is very relaxing and detoxifying to the core so be sure to pre-hydrate.
