Ayurvedic Blissful Nirvana

A medicated herbal oil is selected according to which 'dosha' you are according to a brief diagnostic questionare prior to the service. A dosha helps to determine which elemental energies most comprise your unique biological constitution. A sacred ayurvedic massage protocol stimulates several energetic 'marma' points around the body for ample energy flow. Similar to acupressure points and 'merideans', these points are situated on 'nadis' at complexes where energy can become stagnant and create imbalances. The grand finale of this service is a warm oil stream that flows over your forehead, scalp and through your hair. Bring an empty disposable water bottle to take home your shirodhara oil afterwards. You can use this oil for your at home self-massages.
Signature Relaxation Massage

A firm swedish massage is helpful to relieve stress. A medicinal herbal oil or aromatherapy will be used to soothe your senses. I integrate different modalities depending on your needs. Lymphatic drainage, acupressure, reflexology and craniosacral are some of my favorite therapeutic techniques. I also incorporate manual therapy and reiki as needed.
Lymphatic drainage is a very light massage technique to move along stagnant lymph to the lymph nodes for processing. Acupressure is the gentle stimulation of points on the body that allow your energy to flow more freely. Reflexology focuses on points and energy zones on the bottoms of the feet that correspond to different organs and bodily structures. Craniosacral gently realigns the bones of the cranium and spine for ample function. Allowing your body to flow at peak function may also help you to live within the flow of life with greater ease, and less resistance to change.
Prenatal Massage

Find comfort during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy as your body changes with your growing little one.
Therapeutic massage in this transition will support your posture (as center of gravity shifts), allow for flexibility in the ribcage, and help with stress management. These considerations help to build resilience, so that your body can bounce back with ease after your baby arrives.
